Here's some pics of our trip to Virginia City. It's a little old mining town that has been preserved the way it was 150 years ago.Abigail as a stagecoach passenger

Abs and Sam in Jail. Abs gave us her "sad face"for this one. Ever since she has been fascinated with the idea that "big people" go to jail when they are bad.

Well it's been a long time since our last post. Things have kinda gotten a little crazy around here. January was very busy. There was so much work that needed to be done down in the flood area that it sucked up almost all of our free time. There is still a lot of work to be done but our community and various charitable organizations have really stepped in to help a lot. Our church for instance still has volunteers from all over the country staying there and helping rebuild people's houses for free. I'm just so happy with our church and people there.
They are the "real thing" as one of our pastors put it. Regular people living for Jesus every day. It's just awesome.February I started experiencing some pretty intense Moring Sickness which affects me all day. That's right-I'm pregnant-again! Don't ask me what I think about it. I'm 14 weeks along now and still in shock. We found out right when we finished our Foster Care classes. Both Erik and I were so excited about Foster Care and sure about what we wanted to do.... I guess that's how it usually works though.
I also got a part time job Merchandising at a the new Walmart here. Between all that and the double ear infection/pink eye/flu run we had in our house for about 5 weeks February is still a little hazy. Praise God we are all better. My morining sickness is subsiding and spring is here.
Easter was just wonderful. I can't overstate my joy at hearing the Gospel on Easter Sunday and every Sunday at our church. 3 people were baptized into Christ and 1 recieved Christ the previous Sunday. There is nothing cooler than watching people truly repent and follow the Lord. Watching their lives transformed week by week is the most joyous thing in the world. It's what it's all about.
