Abigails Birthday and One Huge Baby Boy
Danny is now a whopping 17lbs, and 24 inches long. at 2 and a half months he is heavier than 100% of other babies his age. That's right, he is off the charts. He is such a cutie. He's got the sweetest temperement, sleeps about 9 hours at night and a few times in the day. He is just about the perfect baby. He's starting to coo and smile at us all the time.
Abigail had a super cute Thanksgiving feast at school. All the parents brought a dish and when we got there they had little family trees at the places for our family to sit with all our names on them. Then they brought the kiddos in dressed as Pilgrims and Indians. Here's Abs later that night as a Pilgrim. It was just too cute! We had a great time. On Thanksgiving night I experimented making a Vegetarian Turkey loaf out of wheat gluten. It was fantastic! Ok so maybe I don't know what Turkey really tastes like anymore, but Erik does and he thought it was great too. Erik and the kiddos made a Pumpkin-Pecan pie as well. It was just a great holiday for us. Abs thinks Thanksgiving's pretty neat.
Abs B-day was a blast. Erik thought we should just party all day and so we did. We started out blowing up balloons, hanging decorations and opening presents. Here's Abs in her very own kid size apron handmade by Aunt Judy. Aunt Judy also threw in a kid size apron for Sam for good measure. Too cute! We broke them in making Abs birthday cake-the first for all of us!

Abigail insisted on writing Sam's name on there as well. She includes his name on all her papers at school too. Her teacher, Miss Ashley, says that she can tell they are very close because Abs talks about Sam all the time.

Family Picture Time! I can't think of anything I enjoy more than getting us all together and trying to coax a smile out of a baby and 2 preschoolers at the same time in front of a stranger. Lucky for us Erik has picture taking down and I super-glued my eyelashes to my eyebrow to keep from blinking at just the wrong moment! All we had to worry about was the kiddos this time and they did great.
