Sam taking some first steps (he's got his kneepads on for crawling)
Well I thought I would try and put some recent pics of the kiddos on here for y'all to see. Most are from our recent trip to Salt Lake. Sam at 13 months has started to respond to questions with "yah" and it is sooooo sweet. Abigail at 2 and a half is all sugar and spice and so much fun. We just spent the evening making sandcastles and she drew a sun! Just a reminder for those of you who don't know, that kind of drawing is way advanced for her age. Yup. She is just a little genius, what can I say? Sam also knows a lot of what we talk about. When we anounce that we are taking Boo to the potty he toddles over to the Bathroom and bangs on the door. When I anounce dinner he marches to his seat. When we pray, he holds out his hands and at the end says "Ame." Most importantly, when I say "no, come here" he does! I will relish this time until he is about 18 months old and figures out that maybe he doesn't want to "come here."
So, ironically, one thing we do have on our side is time-unless of course you think that we are going to run out of oil soon and that our economy will crash, which is Erik's new concern. He will post soon about that and fill everyone in on our thoughts.
Erik has started working during the day. He is doing a great job with the place but his boss isn't doing so well. Erik is doing as well as he can given the circumstances. We are a little discouraged because it looks like our stay here in Fernley is getting longer every week (as in, every wee
k it looks like we will be here longer than we thought the week before).

Dayna-cutest prego chick ever!
We have decided to adopt 2 ET children at once. In the adoption world, if you want to they have to be siblings and we can't disrupt the birth order of our current family. We won't be able to adopt until Sam is 3 and there is a sibling group under that age that need a family.
